Challenge

As Wellbi’s demand scaled, checkout became a critical pain point:

  • High RTO rates (20% in June 2024) were eating into margins
  • Native Shopify checkout was too slow and clunky
  • Limited prepaid adoption and no easy upselling opportunities

Solution

Wellbi’s team had tried multiple solutions, starting with Shopify’s native checkout, then experimenting with Simple and GoKwik.  But none could deliver the right balance of speed, reliability, and RTO control. By mid-2024, it was clear that checkout had become a growth bottleneck.

That’s when they moved to Shopflo. The decision was driven by three priorities: a faster checkout experience, stronger RTO protection, and flexibility to scale with the brand’s needs.

  • Split COD: Partial advance options cut cancellations and improved order acceptance.
  • Prepaid Growth: Nudges and trust-building flows increased prepaid share.
